The Community Migrant Resource Centre is a not-for-profit organisation committed to ensuring that refugees, humanitarian entrants and other migrants in NSW are supported and resourced to fulfil their potential as members of the Australian community

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager who will work to expand the CMRC’S reach and profit revenues. This will be done by identifying new markets and attracting new clients. The business development manager will research new business opportunities, identify and develop strategic plans and strategies, undertake presentations and negotiations with prospective funding bodies / organisations / partners.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Market expansion and research

  • Service delivery

  • Team development and human resources

  • Resource management

  • Networks and partnerships

  • Grants and funding

  • Financial management

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing business development strategies

  • Strategic business planning capabilities with demonstrated management and engagement skills to deliver outcomes

  • Extensive experience in developing and maintaining relationships with a range of individuals and organisations

  • High level communication, and experience in project management skills

  • Demonstrated social research experience

  • Business development skills and experience working in community sector

  • Administrative and financial management capability

  • Proven ability to assess community needs and opportunities and build collaborations

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
