One such project is LEAPP (Learning, Employment, Advancement, Productivity and Placement), which will assist Mahsa achieve her dreams of becoming a pharmacist.
Mahsa arrived in Australia in 2013 from Afghanistan, brought into Australia by the United Nations on a Humanitarian VISA. She is now 21 years of age and is studying year 11 at Bankstown Senior College.
“When I came to Australian I could not speak English and I had to study EFS in Bankstown College. I now have aspirations to become a pharmacist in the future. This is why I want to be a part of the LEAPP (Learning, Employment, Advancement, Productivity and Placement) program run by CMRC. The LEAPP program will allow me to gain work experience and the necessary skills required to be a successful pharmacist in the future”.
