Aimed at challenging the discourse surrounding migrants and refugees, locals from Port Macquarie opened their homes over the course of two days to women from Sydney in hopes to break down pre-exisiting stereotypes and barriers. Apart of the Women’s Exchange Program, the women explored Port Macquarie and shared their culture through food, song and dance with the locals.
